From stunning beaches to rolling countryside there is plenty to see and do along the Moray Coast. This makes it the perfect all year round holiday destination.

The Moray Firth is home to a wide variety of marine life including bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and rare seabirds. Boat trips on the Moray Firth are ideal for taking in the beautiful coastal scenery and local sea life including the dolpins, for example North 58º Sea Adventures now also sail from Lossiemouth.

For those interested in walking, hiking or cycling there are plenty of routes in the surrounding area. The start of the Speyside Way, which runs for over 60 miles from Buckie to Aviemore, can be found just a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Speyside is also home to the world famous Malt Whisky Trail. A lovely day can be had travelling around the historic distilleries set in the enchanting woods and glens of Speyside.

Moray is also a perfect place for Golfers of all abilities. For example, just a short walk from the cottage is Buckpool Golf Course. Along the coast, less than five minutes by car, is Strathlene Golf Course. Both courses are set on the cliff tops with fantastic views over the Moray Firth.

For those looking to explore a little further, Buckie is also within easy reach of Aberdeen, Inverness, Loch Ness and Cairngorm National Park.
