Welcome to the Yardie

No.47 is a traditional stone fishermans cottage in the conservation area of Yardie in Buckie.

The comfortable and cosy cottage is situated just yards from the sea on the beautiful Moray Coast and benefits from delightful sea views.

The town centre of Buckie is just a short walk from the cottage and boasts a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, café's, take outs and it's own leisure centre.

It is ideally placed to visit the abundance of quaint fishing villages and picturesque harbours littered along this part of the Scottish coastline. The stunning scenery can be appreciated as you follow the Speyside Way or Malt Whisky Trail, both within easy reach of the cottage.

Just yards from the cottage is the old Buckpool Harbour which now features a play park for younger children and football pitch.

The Harbour at Buckie remains one of the most active and fascinating in Scotland. It is home to Buckie Shipyard Ltd who refit and repair RNLI Lifeboats . Although not as busy as in the past there are still plenty of interesting fishing and pleasure boats to view coming and going from the harbour.

For those interested in it's history the Buckie Fishing and Heritage centre can be found in the town.

We hope you decide to explore this wonderful part of Scotland.
